The Prevalence of Children and Sleep Problems
One in three children has difficulty falling asleep. The University of Michigan Child Development Center indicates that “Sleep problems are some of the most common problems parents face with their kids.” Some advocate a sleep study for your child.
Any way you look at it, sleep problems affect many aspects of the child’s life: significantly, this includes general mood. Additionally, a sleep-deprived child is more prone to anxiety trouble, anger management problems, and illness. I think we’ve all discovered, as adults, that we are more susceptible to various illness when we are not getting our proper rest. The same holds true for kids. Sleep hygiene for kids is also quite important.
